Desert Love!

There’s something incredibly timeless about capturing the love story of two people who have grown up together, whose journey has been built on years of friendship, laughter, and growth. Destiney and Eli are high school sweethearts whose love has stood the test of time, and their intimate elopement in Tucson, Arizona, was nothing short of magical.
When Destiney first reached out to me, she mentioned a vision of exchanging vows in the serene landscape of Mount Lemmon. But after considering their options, she and Eli decided to bring their love story to life at a space that felt equally meaningful and soulful—the historic chapel at DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun.
Tucked in the heart of Tucson, this venue offers an artful fusion of southwestern charm and spiritual intimacy. It was the perfect backdrop for a couple whose love has been woven over the years with grace and intention.
Their families gathered with joy and tenderness, making the moment feel deeply rooted and personal. Watching both sides come together in support and celebration reminded me how special these intimate weddings are filled with meaning, free from distractions, and focused entirely on love.
The ceremony itself was simple, emotional, and heart-stirring. With natural light filtering through the chapel windows and the warm adobe walls surrounding them, Destiney and Eli shared their vows in front of the people who have loved them the longest.
After the ceremony, we explored the desert grounds for portraits that captured the joy and calm that followed. The golden Arizona light wrapped them in the kind of glow that only the desert can offer, a photographer’s dream.
From the gentle breeze to the meaningful glances exchanged between them, every detail felt aligned and intentional. It was a day that reminded me how powerful elopements can be, stripped down to what matters most.
To Destiney and Eli, thank you for letting me be a part of your love story. Your connection is beautiful, your energy is grounding, and I’m so honored to have documented the beginning of your next chapter. Cheers to many more years of love, laughter, and adventure.
